The build to a major show like WrestleMania is bound to havesome bumps along the way. It’s practically impossible to have so many movingparts and have everything go smoothly and without any hiccups. But unlike recent years, the road to WrestleMania 41 has hadsome gigantic potholes and a few car crashes littering the path.
The result isa WrestleMania that has huge question marks and doubt surrounding several majorstories. Instead of fans gleefully fantasy-booking Mania, they’re trying tomake sense of the actual angles being presented on television. Not all of these situations will result in the feuds andmatches falling apart.
In fact, several of these will succeed in spite of theissues. And that’s perfectly normal. What isn’t normal is the sheer volume of problems that havecropped up during WrestleMania season.
There isn’t anything approaching “trainwreck”status, but the biggest sports entertainment company on the planet with themost talented roster in the business and near-unlimited financial resourcesshouldn’t be struggling in as many areas as WWE is just a couple weeks awayfrom WrestleMania. Let’s comb through some of those issues as we enter the homestretch of WrestleMania season and see where things stand. What will beinteresting is to see how WWE comes out of things on the other side of the bigshow.
