8 treated after Kings Rd accident

As investigations continue, Police director of Traffic, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Mitieli Divuana, is urging all public service vehicle drivers (PSVs) to remain vigilant on the road.

The Fiji Police Force is investigating a recent accident involving a collision between a container trailer and a minibus carrying six passengers around midday on Friday. The accident occurred near Lokuya Hill, past the Verata Junction, along Kings Road, heading towards Korovou Town, Tailevu North. Police confirmed that both drivers, along with the six passengers, were taken to Korovou Hospital for treatment.

As investigations continue, Police director of Traffic, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Mitieli Divuana, is urging all public service vehicle drivers (PSVs) to remain vigilant on the road. “This is the second incident this week involving PSVs, and innocent passengers are becoming victims on our roads,” said SSP Divuana.
