india 76th Republic Day celebrated across India India is celebrating its 76th Republic Day with a grand display of its rich cultural diversity, unity, equality, development, and military strength at Kartavya Path. President Droupadi Murmu is leading the celebrations, with Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto as the Chief Guest. Various state leaders across the country, including Bihar Governor Arif Mohammad Khan, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge in Bengaluru, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis in Mumbai, and Tripura Governor Indrasena Nallu Reddy in Agartala, have unfurled the national flag at local events.
In Jammu and Kashmir's Baramulla, Army jawans marked the day by unfurling the tricolour at the Line of Control. Andhra Pradesh Governor Abdul Nazeer led celebrations in Vijayawada, where a march past and cultural events took place. Meanwhile, tourists in Srinagar’s Lal Chowk joined the festivities.
