72-year-old woman killed by crocodile

Vadodara: A 72-year-old woman was attacked by a crocodile in Waghodia taluka on Wednesday. The victim, Jeevi Rathodia, was dragged into deep waters after she entered a lake in Hansapura village with her goats. The crocodile latched onto her legs and pulled her underwater.

Locals rushed to help, but they could only watch helplessly as the reptile swam around with her body for several hours. Her body was later recovered from the lake by locals with assistance from the forest department.
