A 62-year-old Lincoln man was charged Wednesday after being accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl, according to court documents. Rock Amen was charged with first-degree sexual assault of a child and committing intentional child abuse. Rock Amen On Tuesday, the Lincoln Police Department obtained a video allegedly depicting Amen sexually assaulting the 13-year-old girl, according to the probable cause affidavit.
Officers contacted Amen at the Hall of Justice and took him into custody. Judge Thomas Zimmerman set his percentage bond at $1 million, meaning he would have to pay $100,000 to be released. The city of Lincoln is balking at signing a new long-term contract with the humane society to provide shelter for stray animals after the amount nearly tripled over previous years.
