The 61st Baeksang Arts Awards has unveiled a star-studded presenter lineup! Kicking things off are last year’s Grand Prize winners— Ryu Seung Ryong of “Moving” and director Kim Sung Soo of “ 12.12: The Day ”—who will return to the stage as presenters. They will be joined by fellow 60th Baeksang winners presenting in pairs, including Lee Jung Ha and Yoo Na, Ahn Jae Hong and Yeom Hye Ran , Kim Jong Soo and Lee Sang Hee , Na Young Suk and Hong Jin Kyung , Namgoong Min and Lee Ha Nee , and Hwang Jung Min and Kim Go Eun .
Singer and actress BIBI , who won Best New Actress in the film category last year, will present this year’s Best New Actor and Actress awards. Joining her will be Ong Seong Wu , standing in for Lee Do Hyun , who won Best New Actor last year and is currently serving in the military. Kang Hae Jin, last year’s Best Actor in Theater and now active across various stage productions, will also take the stage to present this year’s theater acting honor.
Kim Shin Rok , returning for a third year as the moderator of the GUCCI IMPACT AWARD, will join director Cho Hyun Chul , whose film “The Dream Songs” won last year’s award, to present the honor and announce this year’s recipient. Kim Seon Ho , known for his performance in “When Life Gives You Tangerines,” will appear as a presenter to support the drama’s cast and crew. The series is nominated in eight categories.
Choi Moo Sung , who balances a prolific screen career with a deep commitment to theater, will present the Baeksang Play Award. A major highlight of the night will be the reunion of beloved on-screen couples. Seo In Guk and Jeong Eun Ji , the iconic duo from the 2012 tvN drama “ Reply 1997 ,” will reunite following the release of their duet “ Couple ”—their first musical collaboration in 13 years.
Go Kyung Pyo and Seohyun , who co-starred in the 2020 JTBC drama “Private Lives,” will also reunite on stage for the first time in five years, reigniting the chemistry of their roles. The ceremony will also spotlight some of the most highly-anticipated projects of the year. Ahn Hyo Seop and Nana , stars of the upcoming big-budget film “ Omniscient Reader ,” set to premiere in July, will appear to help build excitement for what’s expected to be one of the summer’s biggest blockbusters.
Byun Yo Han and Go Ah Sung , stars of the film “ Pavane ” (literal title), will attend as well. The ceremony is scheduled to take place on May 5 at 8 p.m.
