5 Kingstree High Lady Blazers invited to preseason basketball camps

Five Kingstree High School Lady Blazers have been invited to attend preseason basketball camps where they could be scouted.

Jaiden McKnight Five members of the Lady Blazers Basketball team have been invited to attend preseason camps. The camps are invite-only and give players the opportunity to compete with and against some of the best players in South Carolina, learn new skills and be seen in action by scouts. Lady Blazers Basketball players Demia Mosley, Naydia Shaw, Jaiden McKnight and Nyla Wallace have been selected to attend the S.

C. Athletic Coaches Association (SCBCA) Girls Elite Camp on October 12 at the North Charleston Athletic Center. Demia Mosley D2, D3, junior colleges and scouting services will be looking for players at the SCBCA camp, says Lady Blazers Head Coach James Price.



The camp incorporates skill development, playing games, and information about NCAA requirements and the recruiting process. There is also a classroom session for parents to help explain the recruiting process, and NCAA initial eligibility requirements, etc. Kylee Kelty Kylee Kelty has been selected to attend the King University Prospect ID Camp at Rocky River High School in Mint Hill, N.

C. on September 28. The College Basketball Prospect ID event is the last premier event before the 2024-25 high school and college basketball seasons begin.

Coker University, King University, Methodist University, Guilford College, Meredith College and scouting services will be invited to attend. Naydia Shaw “I am excited that Kylee Kelty got this opportunity to perform on a big stage in front of college coaches just prior to basketball season,” says Price. “The hard work she has been putting in to showcase her abilities has not gone unnoticed.
