Ashlee Simpson gave a simple answer when asked about rumors surrounding Jessica Simpson ’s marriage to Eric Johnson . Ashlee, 40, was approached by reporters during a recent night out with husband Evan Ross in Beverly Hills. At first, Ashlee ignored the questions, but replied “no” after being pressed about whether it’s “true” that Jessica, 44, is splitting from Johnson, her husband of 10 years.
Speculation swirled about the status of the couple’s relationship after Jessica shared a cryptic message via Instagram, writing, “Interviews in my Nashville music room where I unearthed my singular magic. This comeback is personal, it’s an apology to myself for putting up with everything I did not deserve 🎶 🎼 🤍🖤.” Neither Jessica nor Johnson have addressed the chatter.
