4 held in Cyberabad for cheating car owners

The Raidurgam police arrested four persons for cheating several car owners in the name of letting their vehicles on rental basis. The arrested have been identified as Jupudi Usha of Telecomnagar, Thudumula Mallesh of Shaikpet, and Sagar Patil and Anil Jamane, both residents of Attapur, said Cyberabad Deputy Commissioner of Police, Vineeth G. As many as 21 cars all worth over Rs.

2.50 crore were seized from the possession of the arrested persons. Vineeth said Usha and Mallesh cheated 21 innocent car owners on the pretext of receiving cars on rental basis and pledged them with Sagar Patil and Anil Jamane who being aware of the criminal intention received cars and lent them on rent basis to various persons with RC photo copies at Bidar and Bhalki districts in Karnataka.
