(Photo from the BFP) MANILA, Philippines — Four fatalities and two injuries were recorded by the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) after a blaze hit a residential area in Pasay City on Saturday morning (February 15).
According to the BFP report, responders were first called at around 4:31 a.m. to the scene along Esteban Street in Barangay 177.
The fire reached the first alarm at 4:35 a.m., the second at 4:41 a.
m. and the third at 4:58 a.m.
The blaze was put under control by 6:10 a.m. and was extinguished by 7:23 a.
m. The four fatalities were a seven-year-old boy, a 14-year-old male, a 34-year-old female and a 40-year-old male. Meanwhile, injuries were sustained by an 18-year-old male who had a two-inch laceration on his right foot; and a 58-year-old female who suffered a minor burn on her right hand Fourteen fire trucks, one rescue truck and an ambulance responded to the incident.
