Prayagraj: A play titled ‘Shikasta' by Nipa Rangmandal Lucknow , under the direction of Surya Mohan Kulshreshtha and Bharatendu Kashyap, marked the vibrant beginning of the three-day national theatre festival Rang Vinod , organised by Vinod Rastogi Smriti Sansthan at Ravindralay, Georgetown, here on Friday. The play revolves around an old man and an old woman at a shelter home who are lonely, but their ego does not allow them to make friends and start living a happy life together. The old man, who does not like defeat, leaves the place after losing the game, while the egoistic woman enjoys her victory, ignoring the lost opportunity to make a happy beginning.

On Saturday, the play ‘Khidki' will be staged by Eklavya Theatre Dehradun under direction of Akhilesh Narayan.tnn Stay updated with the latest city news , Air Quality Index (AQI), and weather updates for major cities like Delhi , Mumbai , Noida , and Bangalore on Times of India ..
