A heated brawl between Howard University and North Carolina Central has led to the suspension of dozens of players. The fight happened after the game was wrapped up, with NC Central capturing a convincing 26-3 win. The chaos started after Eagles coach Trei Oliver and Howard skipper Larry Scott shook hands at midfield.
The scuffle lasted more than five minutes before the teams finally separated. The Miami Herald reported that the brawl spilled over to the parking lot afterward. You have 60 minutes...
go ahead and play hard for 60 minutes. Compete, shake hands, and let’s let’s go ahead and be done with it. But we have our opportunity play on national television and be able to display our brand, two great universities.
And I think a great conference. And I think that we let our university down, conference down and all of HBCU." Both teams have one game remaining in the regular season.
