33 people including 28 students trapped in middle of river

By Deepak Shrestha, Kathmandu, Sept.28: 33 people including 28 students and teachers of Gurukul School located at the premises of the Aadilinga Kusheshwor Mahadev Temple of Sunkoshi Rural Municipality-2have been trapped in middle of the river. Teacher Narayan Ghimire of Gurukul School said that the water level of the Sunkoshi river have rose and entered the temple from one side and water from Roshi stream have entered from other side trapping temple in between thereby leaving students and teachers trapped.

There is no access of electricity and internet. Teacher Ghimire said that no efforts have been made for the rescue nor to establish connection and has urged media to appeal for the rescue operation..
