Here we have explained about the 3 upcoming Kia EVs that are expected to launch sometime next year in India The electric passenger vehicle segment will see plenty of action in 2025 and Kia will be in the thick of the action as it plans to introduce at least three new models across different segments. Here we have brought you a rundown of the possible offerings: 1. Kia Carens EV: Kia appears to be planning to launch the Carens EV in the latter half of next year, introducing a more tech-loaded model than the internal combustion version to meet the rising demands of the EV market.

The electric Carens is expected to feature unique exterior design elements that highlight its electric character and it has been spied multiple times already. While full specifications are yet to be revealed, it’s expected to deliver a range of over 450 km on a single charge and it will come with upgraded technologies and added features. Kia already sells the EV9 and EV6 in India and its EV range will only be expanded in the coming months as a mix of global and locally made models will be sold.

Kia Sonet EV: The electric compact SUV segment is gathering pace, and Kia is said to be working on a new EV model derived from the Sonet’s platform to make its presence felt. This upcoming electric vehicle will rival the Tata Punch EV and Mahindra’s soon-to-launch XUV 3XO EV.

It will more likely get a battery pack promising a range between 400 and 450 km on a single charge. In addition, it could be priced competitively in India as the base variant could start under Rs. 10 lakh (ex-showroom).

The ICE Sonet is already feature-packed and expect the electric version to get the same treatment. Also Read: Upcoming Compact SUVs In Next 12 Months – New Venue To Kia Syros 3.
