Given the fast-paced landscape of the sport, eyes are already on the 2025 season and the changing lineup around the series.
While the likes of Hendrick Motorsports, Team Penske, Richard Childress Racing, Legacy Motor Club, and JTG Daugherty Racing are not expected to make any changes to their 2025 lineup, things change quickly. He raced in several Cup events for Kaulig Racing this season, which is the organization he has driven for in the Xfinity Series full-time this season as part of an agreement.
Stephen Doran will serve as crew chief for van Gisbergen. Haas Factory Team No. 41 : The defending Xfinity Series champion and current series points leader, Cole Custer, is the driver for Haas in 2025.
Aaron Kramer, who was the lead engineer for Chris Buescher in the Cup Series at RFK, will be the crew chief for Custer. Front Row Motorsports No. 36 : Having acquired the charter from SHR, Zane Smith is the favorite to secure the drive - but nothing is confirmed yet.
The car number is also yet to be confirmed as Front Row Motorsports has considered changing its car number lineup. Spire Motorsports No. 7 : After Corey LaJoie was dropped, Justin Haley was announced as the driver and actually took over the drive in September.
From the start of the 2025 season, the former Rick Ware Racing driver will be paired with new crew chief Rodney Childers. No. 71 : Michael McDowell is set to leave Front Row Motorsports after signing with Spire through at least next season, and he will replace Zane Smith.
McDowell will bring crew chief Travis Peterson with him to the organization. Rick Ware Racing No. 51 : With Justin Haley leaving for Spire Motorsports, Corey LaJoie is the favorite after he drove the No.
51 car for the final seven races of 2024. But his 2025 participation is still to be determined.
