370 Dalit sanyasis to take charge as office bearers at Maha Kumbh 2025

Jagadguru Shankaracharya Gujarat Peethadheeshwar Mahendranand Giri Maharaj announced that 370 Dalit sanyasis will be given key roles at the 2025 Mahakumbh. These individuals, initiated into Sanatan Dharma, are part of a larger group of 907 new sanyasis. This initiative reflects a broader effort to preserve and propagate Sanatan Dharma by connecting with people from all societal backgrounds.

PRAYAGRAJ : Jagadguru Shankaracharya Gujarat Peethadheeshwar Mahendranand Giri Maharaj of Junagadh, Shri Panch Dashnam Juna Akhara , has said, "As many as 370 sanyasis from the Dalit community will arrive at the 2025 Mahakumbh and will be made office bearers." He said, "All of them have been given complete information about Sanatan Dharma , its rituals, and other karma kand." Jagadguru Shankaracharya Gujarat Peethadheeshwar Mahendranand Giri Maharaj added, "I have been inclined towards Sanatan Dharma since childhood.

During this period, 907 people were brought into Sanatan Dharma and made sanyasis, out of which 370 are Dalits.



All of them will be coming to Prayagraj for Maha Kumbh 2025 and have been assigned different responsibilities."
