The flagged flights 6E917 (Chennai-Visakhapatnam) and 6E969 (Bengaluru-Visakhapatnam) were immediately moved to isolation bays upon landing. Both these flights were delayed by three hours.
"We are taking every threat seriously and implementing comprehensive security measures to ensure passenger safety," stated a senior airport official who requested anonymity. The official noted that these incidents are part of a broader pattern, with approximately 60 flights across India that have received similar threats in recent times. On Monday, a bomb threat was made for the IndiGo flight from Shamshabad Airport to Visakhapatnam.
