Tonight, we obviously had to watch the Canadiens’ game, who finally lost in overtime. But we also had to take a look at the Rocket’s game from time to time. Why? Because Jacob Fowler was making his professional debut.

He made a good first impression by stopping 25 of the 26 shots directed at him. He allowed a goal in the Rocket’s win. Welcome to pro hockey, Jacob! Jacob Fowler picks up the victory (25 saves) in his first professional game.

He was extremely solid and for a guy who had never played pro hockey before, he looked very calm and composed. A future Carey Price ? In the second period, with his team leading 2-0, the goalie allowed his first goal. Certainly not his last.

The Crunch showed their teeth in the second period, forcing Jacob Fowler to stand out a few times.
