reports that floorplans include first-floor bedrooms with private entrances, lending themselves to rentals or work-from-home offices. Homes will likely start in the $900,000s. Construction started on Blanc this September; sales will launch next year in 2025, with delivery slated for the fourth quarter.
Indianapolis-based Onyx + East is the developer. It purchased the build site for close to $4 million earlier this spring. Prior to the acquisition, the site was home to a gas station, historic single-family home, and apartment building.
All of these structures were demolished prior to closing. Blanc isn’t the only upscale housing development that Florida YIMBY has recently covered. In September 2024, we reported on , an upscale townhome development also located in St.
Petersburg. Like Blanc, it will feature three-bedroom homes starting at close to $900,000. Construction is expected to start on the five-unit Historic Kenwood Homes by the end of this year.
