2025 Masters featured groups and players to watch on Friday

Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, Bryson DeChambeau and other stars make up some of the best groups for the second round of the Masters.

The first round of the 2025 Masters is in the books, and Augusta National Golf Club was a stout test on the opening day. Scottie Scheffler, the defending champion, opened with a bogey-free 68, but two-time PGA Tour winner Nick Dunlap shot 90 . There was a little bit of everything in the first round, but Augusta National was a brilliant test Thursday, and that should continue throughout the week.
