Chur: In a tragic accident in Rajasthan, two people lost their lives and nine were injured on NH-52 in Chur district of Rajasthan. According to reports, a SUV overturned after hitting a bike.According to police reports, the accident occurred near Utbaliya Chowk on NH-52 in Chur district.
The people had gone to visit Salasar Balaji in a SUV from Chandigarh. After hitting a speeding Scorpio bike near Utbaliya Chowk, the Scorpio overturned.The person on the bike lost his life in the accident.
The car also overturned. All three vehicles were completely destroyed in the accident. Police reached the spot and started rescue operations.
The injured were immediately admitted to a privateHospital and are undergoing treatment. The deceased have been identified as Barkat (35) from Bisao and Ramesh Kawar (75) from Ramnagar, Sikar. Nine people were injured in the accident.
The injured included people aged between 14 and 78 years.Last year, a tragic road accident in Rajasthan’s Karauli district took place between a private bus and a car. Five people in the car were killed in the accident, while 15 passengers in the bus were injured.
The accident was so terrible that the car and the bus were torn apart. Five members of a family traveling in the car died on the spot in the accident. On receiving the news, DM Nilav Saxena, SP Brijesh Jyoti Upadhyay and ASP Gumnaram immediately reached the spot.
They rescued the people trapped in the car and the bus and admitted them to the district hospital. The condition of some of the injured is said to be critical.The deceased persons include a man, his wife, son-daughter and a female relative.
All have been identified from the Aadhaar cards found in the deceased’s car.
