Ludhiana: Two students died after the motorcycle they were riding on rammed into a tractor trolley near their village at Mohi early on Monday morning. The deceased were identified as Harsimran Singh Gary, aged about 16 and Navdeep Singh (15) from Mohi village . They were students of Class XI at a private school in the area.
As per reports, Harsimran had gone to drop his sister to school in Halwara while Navdeep was out for some household work. Sources said that both teenagers, who were riding motorcycles, met on the way. They were coming back together on their respective motorcycles when they rammed into a tractor trolley.
Sources said that both victims died on the spot and their motorcycles were mangled. Dakha DSP Varinder Singh Khosa said that the accident took place on the road between Ghuman and Mohi village. He said that preliminary probe indicated that the boys may have been racing when their motorcycles rammed into the tractor trolley.
