2 dead, 4 injured in car accident near Dahod

Vadodara: Two persons died and four were injured in a car accident on the Dahod-Alirajpur highway near Devdha village in Garbada taluka of Dahod district. The car is believed to have careened out of control when the driver was trying to avoid hitting a motorcycle and then slammed into a tree beside the highway. The accident took place at about 3pm on Saturday.

All six of the occupants were trapped inside the mangled car. Two of them died on the spot while three were taken to hospital. The deceased were identified as Rakesh Minama and Bhavsinh Parmar.
