Surat: A 19-year-old college student was arrested on Sunday by Jahangirpura police in Surat for allegedly flashing his private parts at his female tuition teachers. According to details, the complainant and the other victim teach at a private tuition class in the Jahangirpura area. On Oct 19, both teachers were going to the tuition class for teaching.

Both victims left the place immediately out of fear. They talked to their parents, who advised them to call the police the next time they faced such a situation.
However, the accused continued to do this regularly and also stalked them. Again, on Nov 20, while the complainant was going to the tuition classes at around 4 pm, the accused came wearing a mask and shorts on his motorcycle. The accused demanded ‘sex' and left on his motorcycle.
On Saturday evening, when the complainant came out of a grocery shop near her home, the accused again appeared and started making obscene gestures at her. The victim immediately called her parents, who came to the spot immediately with the parents of another victim. The locals gathered there, called the police, and handed him over to them.
Jahangirpura police inspector DG Rabari told TOI: "We have arrested him for obscene gestures intended to insult women's modesty, stalking, and making sexually inappropriate remarks. The accused is pursuing BCom. We have called his parents and asked them to counsel him.
We are investigating if he is involved in any other crime or not.".
