18K RPF, GRP sluthes to assist devotees

Prayagraj: Indian Railways made extensive arrangements for safety of devotees at all major railway stations. Over 18,000 personnel of the RPF and GRP will be deployed at nine railway stations in Prayagraj. Senior PRO of the NCR, Amit Malviya said, "Railways prepared a special strategy for Maha Kumbh.

RPF and GRP personnel deployed at railway stations will not only monitor security but will also assist passengers. CCTV cameras and other surveillance equipment have been increased ." Special check posts will be set up at railway stations.



RPF and GRP personnel received special training for crowd control and disaster management. Women police personnel will also be deployed.
