Recently, I rounded up popular films that people think aren't that good . There were so many good responses that we also asked the BuzzFeed Community to tell us which TV shows they think are completely overrated or overhyped. Here are some of the best responses: 1.

Gilmore Girls : "An immature mom with a whiny teen. It just grates my nerves how people go on about a show that falls flat and is at times offensive. It’s gonna be a no from me.

" — anner2991 2. This Is Us : "I never understood the appeal of This Is Us . From what I heard from people who watched it, every single episode was a gut-wrenching sob fest.

I'm all for a good cry once in a while, but dang, that show seemed excessive. Why commit your free time to being miserable and sad when you could watch something funny or exciting? Dunno, just not my cup of tea." — angelav45d8cf1a3 3.

The Big Bang Theory : "Utter trash. Offensive stereotypes not hidden behind any humor." — charminggoat4558 4.

Young Sheldon : "I didn’t believe people actually watched it, but then I met a group of people who were absolutely obsessed with it. They had an almost admirable amount of passion for it, too. I tried to watch it and found it unbearable.

" —Anonymous 5. Game of Thrones : "Unnecessary gratuitous sex scenes, including scenes of sexual violence." — fillionfan4002 6.

The White Lotus : "We watched the first season and, honestly, I don’t know why we kept watching after the first few episodes. All the buzz made us think it would get good, but the characters were all horrible people that I absolutely hated. And I know sometimes you’re not supposed to like characters, but they also weren’t interesting, and their motivations were unclear.

" —Anonymous, 42, Minnesota 7. Friends : "A bunch of whiny, self-absorbed white people." — tjcenter58 8.

The Office : "The American and British versions. Just unbelievably unfunny. I’ve tried to watch the show multiple times because of the memes and popularity, but it’s just so bad.

" — jimmy_jim 9. Seinfeld : "I’ve only seen a few episodes, but people act like that show is the show of all shows. It’s not! It just was never funny to me.

" — anaira_march 10. Stranger Things : "I have tried multiple times to watch it, but never got past that opening episode. Everyone points out how much I love '80s horror and such, but why do I need to watch a show with a bunch of kids whose parents were probably babies in the '80s doing what the '80s did better the first time?" —Anonymous, 37, UK 11.

The Walking Dead : "How many seasons and the humans still can't get their shit together? At this point, I'm rooting for the zombies." — bougieghost361 12. Breaking Bad : "Boring and filled with unlikeable characters.

We quit halfway through Season 1." — lexiv 13. Wandavision : "Everyone loved Wandavision , but I barely got through it.

Marvel has added new actors and characters to the point where it’s way too much, even though some of the actors are amazing." — ruchav 14. The Bear : "Everyone loves it, but I think it's just okay.

Season 1 was good. Season 3 felt like they got too full of themselves and started doing stuff that critics would think was 'artsy' and would win awards." — flyerboy6 15.

It's Okay Not To Be Okay : "It's a K-drama, and I watched 11 out of 16 episodes, but I couldn't finish it. Yet people consider it one of the best K-dramas of recent years! It has a super toxic and manipulative female lead who manipulates the male lead's autistic brother to make the male lead move in with her. Could not watch it any longer.

" — surprisedpear22 16. Emily in Paris : "Need I say anymore?" —Anonymous, 32, U.S.

17. And finally, The Sopranos : "That's not in any way a comment on the writing, storylines, or performances, which were often great. But having said that, 13-episode seasons were too long and resulted in too many inessential episodes.

If it were a book, it would need a much better editor to trim a lot of the fat and tighten up the storytelling." — sillyarcher943 What other TV shows do you think belong on this list? Let us know in the comments below! Some submissions have been edited for length and/or clarity..
