A 14-year-old was arrested Friday on charges he threatened to “shoot up” Bergen Community College in a TikTok video earlier this month, authorities said. The Bergen County Sheriff’s Office was notified about the TikTok post on Dec. 6.
The teen threatened to shoot up the college on Dec. 16, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office said. Detectives from the office’s Cyber Crimes Unit traced the threatening post and identified the 14-year-old in Bergen County as the person who posted it, investigators said.
