12 military members injured in bus crash on N.J. Turnpike

The bus and a truck collided Wednesday in Camden County.

A dozen military members and a truck driver were injured when a tractor-trailer struck a bus on the New Jersey Turnpike in Camden County, according to authorities and news reports. A disabled northbound bus was straddling the right lane and the right shoulder when a tractor-trailer hit it about 12:55 p.m.

near milepost 25.6 in Runnemde, State Police said. The bus was occupied by military personnel traveling from Maryland, according to 6abc.



com . The truck driver was also hurt. State Police told NJ Advance Media the injuries are not considered life threatening.
