Nashville has more themed holiday pop-up bars this year than you have ornaments on a tree. This is the third in our 12 Days of Christmas Pop-Ups series , designed to help you find more holiday bling for your buck. If you like bright colors, larger-than-life transformations and a Muppet-y aesthetic, then the Noelle hotel’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas pop-up bar, Hidden-Ville, may make your heart grow three sizes.
Dr. Seuss tends to make most things more fun, and that’s the case of the speakeasy has been transformed into Whoville, with cartoon-style walls and décor and a menu worthy of Whos and Nashvillians alike. Feast on “roast beast” sliders and Santa’s cookies.
Drink concoctions such as “Dashing Through the No,” with spiced pomegranate juice, and “You’re a Mean One,” with Cincoro Blanco. Shot One and Shot Two are nightly specials chosen by the bartender, if shots are your way of celebrating the holidays. Whether you run into the green one or not remains to be seen, but there’s no way this outing will stink! Stank! Stunk! For an all-ages Grinch-themed pop-up, check out Who’s Tavern at Pancake Pantry downtown.
