1,105 special buses to clear rush at weekend

Chennai: The state transport department will operate nearly 1,105 special buses in addition to routine govt bus services across Tamil Nadu from Friday to Sunday to clear extra rush at bus terminuses this weekend . This includes 715 special buses from Kalaignar Centenary Bus Terminus (KCBT) Kilambakkam in Chennai to Madurai, Trichy, Coimbatore, Salem, and Tirunelveli on Friday and Saturday. More 150 buses will depart from Chennai Mofussil Bus Terminus (CMBT), Koyambedu on these two days to Tiruvannamalai, Nagapattinam, Velankanni, Hosur and Bengaluru, said an official release.
