A GoFundMe campaign for the remaining child of a mother and father who were killed in a tragic car crash Saturday night along with their daughter, has raised more than $100,000 as of Tuesday night. The GoFundMe was created by Max Dryerman , the son of Michele and David Dryerman, both 54, of Woodcliff Lake and brother of Brooke Dryerman, 17, the GoFundMe says. All three of Max Dryerman’s family members were killed in a crash Saturday night while traveling north on the Garden State Parkway, according to authorities.

“Donations will go to support Max as he returns to college as well as charities of Max’s choice,” the description for the fundraising campaign said. Social media posts said Dryerman is a 19-year-old engineering student at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Max Dryerman did not immediately respond to a message left for him Tuesday afternoon.

The crash happened at about 11:55 p.m. on the northbound side of the Garden State Parkway near Woodbridge, when authorities said the car David Dryerman was driving ran off the left side of the road and hit a guardrail, a sign and a concrete bridge support.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation. On Sunday morning, Woodcliff Lake Mayor Carlos A. Rendo said in a Facebook post that he had just received word of the crash that killed the Dryermans and ordered that borough flags be lowered to half-staff.

“I am in shock. Please keep the family in your prayers,” Rendo wrote in the post. Rendo reposted the GoFundMe for Max Dryerman on Tuesday, adding that some community members have suggested donating a bench to be placed in a park in honor of the family.

A vigil for the family was held Sunday night at Valley Chabad in Woodcliff Lake, according to reports. Funeral services for Michele, David and Brooke were held together Tuesday at Temple Emmanuel of the Pascack Valley.
