1000-Lb. Sisters star Tammy Slaton believes her sister, Amanda, is jealous of her following her massive weight loss. Tammy recently dropped over 500 pounds, and since doing so, she’s become convinced that her sibling is jealous of how “pretty” she is now.
In a teaser clip from the upcoming episode that TLC shared on Instagram , Tammy is talking to her sister Amy about their sister Amanda . "I've lost so much weight. I feel like, she's kinda jealous.
The spotlight's not on her,” the clip started. "[Amanda’s] not the pretty sister no more," Tammy said of Amanda in the show’s confessional shot. "And she wants to kick me out of her house?" Tammy also said when it cut back to her conversation with Amy at the kitchen table.
"I do not deserve that, her kids run over me, this isn't my place, it's never been my place," she added. "Amanda has kicked me out of her house, that house, before," Tammy further explained in a confessional, sharing how the two lived together 15 years ago. When Tammy was recalling how the two lived together over a decade ago, she divulged how Amanda "didn't like" something she said, thus kicking her out.
"I'm not gonna let Amanda hold the house against me ever again,” Tammy shared. "Never let a family member be your landlord. Lesson learned," she insisted.
Many flocked to the comment section of the TLC video that was shared online to give their opinion on the situation. “No one is jealous girl. Just focus on your goals!” one exclaimed.
Another shared: "Tammy, you have come so far-work on this anger towards your sister in therapy. Don’t let this hold you back from reaching your goals. You got this!" "OMG Tammy stopppp do better no one jealous of u ffs," a third added.
A fourth person noted: "Concentrate on u. U come so far. Look amazing.
Get ur own place make it urs." A fifth mentioned: "Tammy you should buy your own cute place! Blessings and miracles." Before Tammy underwent bariatric surgery in 2022, she weighed 725 pounds.
After getting the surgery, Tammy has dropped more than 500 pounds. Since late 2024, she’s been able to walk freely without needing oxygen and can now fit in a regular car. In addition to Tammy, Amanda has also lost a lot of weight since having her own bariatric surgery.
