The top 10 most-valued firms lost a cumulative Rs 55,064 crore in market valuation on Monday, with HDFC Bank Ltd. and Reliance Industries Ltd. emerging as the biggest losers.
HDFC Bank witnessed the sharpest drop with a loss of Rs 15,524 crore, taking its market capitalisation to approximately Rs 13.6 lakh crore. RIL saw a deletion of Rs 14,005 crore in its market cap, which now stands at approximately Rs 16.

Bharti Airtel Ltd.'s market capitalisation decreased by Rs 7,372 crore to Rs 9.03 lakh crore, while Infosys Ltd.
and Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. lost Rs 4,463 crore and Rs 2,188 crore respectively. ITC Ltd.
's market cap decreased by Rs 2,001 crore to Rs 5.96 lakh crore. On the gaining side, HCL Technologies Ltd.
recorded a gain of Rs 10,026 crore, with the market cap rising to Rs 5.23 lakh crore. Hindustan Unilever Ltd.
saw an addition of Rs 528 crore, bringing its market cap to Rs 5.5 lakh crore. RIL retained its position as the most-valued firm, followed by TCS, HDFC Bank, Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank, Infosys, SBI, HUL, ITC and HCLTech.
The benchmark equity indices eroded early gains in the last leg of the trade to end lower on Monday as HDFC Bank Ltd. and ICICI Bank Ltd. led the losses.
