RED WING, Minn. — One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash on Minnesota Highway 58 in Red Wing on Monday, April 7, 2025. A 2003 Chevrolet Impala was traveling south on Highway 58 when it struck an unoccupied, stalled vehicle on the highway shoulder near Bush Street, according to a Minnesota State Patrol crash report.
The Impala then rolled and landed on its roof around 1:15 p.m. Monday.
ADVERTISEMENT The driver of the Impala, 78-year-old William James Auchampach of Red Wing, had non-life-threatening injuries. He was transported to Mayo Clinic Hospital in Red Wing. The Minnesota State Patrol, Red Wing Police Department, Goodhue County Sheriff’s Office and Red Wing Ambulance Service responded to the crash.
