One person died and two were injured in an early Sunday morning fire in a residential neighborhood in Barangay Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City. In his report on Super Radyo dzBB, Carlo Mateo said the Bureau of Fire Protection said they are still trying to determine what caused the fire that began at Acacia Street at 3:47 a.m.
The remains of the lone fatality is still inside one of razed houses as firefighters are encountering difficulties in reaching it. Two persons were reportedly injured. The BFP said it is still determining the exact number of affected residences and establishments.
The fire reached the 2nd Alarm before it was declared extinguished at 6:03 a.m. according to BFP ground commander Robert Marabilla.
The Scene of the Crime (SOCO) of the Pasig Police said it will conduct a probe of the incident. —RF, GMA Integrated News.
